Abstract

This standard specifies helps organizations protect human values and incorporate ethics in their design and use of automated decision systems. It is limited to artificial intelligence using machine learning for automated decisions.

This standard provides a framework and process to help organizations address AI ethics principles, including those described by the OECD. Requirements in this standard are principles-based and recognize an organization’s governing practices may depend on its size; ownership structure; nature, scope and complexity of operations; strategy; and risk profile. © 2023 Digital Governance Council.
